100% Guarantee Policy

At CPR Car Body Repairs Ltd, customer satisfaction and quality workmanship are at the heart of everything we do. We have proudly served Liverpool and the surrounding areas for over 28 years, earning a reputation for honesty, reliability, and exceptional repair standards.

We want every customer to feel confident that the work carried out at CPR meets the highest standards. That’s why we offer our 100% Guarantee, which sits alongside your statutory rights under UK law.

This Guarantee applies to all vehicles we repair, including cars, vans, motorhomes, campervans, and fleet/commercial vehicles.

Scope of Our Guarantee

  1. Body Repairs – All dent removal, scratch repairs, bumper repairs, accident damage, and panel work carried out by CPR is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

  2. Paintwork and Resprays – Full resprays, partial resprays, and colour-matching services are guaranteed against defects including peeling, blistering, cracking, or poor adhesion caused by our process.

  3. Specialist Repairs – Alloy wheel refurbishments, campervan/motorhome bodywork, and fleet/commercial vehicle repairs are included within this Guarantee.

  4. Duration – Our workmanship guarantee applies for 12 months from the date of completion of the repair. If an issue arises during this period due to faulty workmanship or materials supplied by CPR, we will rectify it free of charge.

  5. Tyres – All tyres supplied and fitted by CPR are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. CPR’s 100% Guarantee does not extend to tyres beyond the manufacturer’s cover.

Your Legal Rights (UK Law 2025)

This Guarantee is provided in addition to your legal rights under UK law, specifically:

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015 – requires that services be provided with reasonable care and skill and that materials supplied are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If services do not meet these requirements, you are entitled to a remedy such as a repair, repeat service, price reduction, or (in some cases) refund.

  • Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 – ensures that where services are booked remotely (e.g. by phone or online), customers receive clear information before entering into a contract, and are protected against hidden charges.

  • Limitation Act 1980 – even after our 12-month Guarantee period, you may still have rights to bring a claim for defective service for up to 6 years (England and Wales), although after 6 months the burden of proof falls on the customer to show the work was defective.

Nothing in this Guarantee affects or limits your statutory rights.

Exclusions

Our 100% Guarantee does not cover the following:

  1. Normal Wear and Tear – Gradual deterioration of paintwork, alloy wheels, or bodywork due to age, weather, or general use.

  2. New Damage After Repairs – Accidents, bumps, scratches, kerb damage, or dents caused after the vehicle leaves our care.

  3. Rust and Corrosion – Unless rust treatment was specifically agreed in the original repair order.

  4. Mechanical or Electrical Issues – The Guarantee only applies to bodywork, paintwork, alloy wheels, and fitting of tyres — not to unrelated engine, mechanical, or electrical components.

  5. Third-Party Interference – Any work carried out by another garage, body shop, or individual on an area we repaired will void the Guarantee for that area.

  6. Environmental or External Factors – Damage caused by stone chips, road debris, bird droppings, tree sap, salt, UV fading, chemical spills, or adverse environmental conditions.

  7. Customer Neglect or Misuse – Failure to follow aftercare advice, use of abrasive products, neglect, or improper maintenance of the repaired area.

  8. Tyres – Normal tread wear, punctures, misuse, or damage caused by road hazards. Tyres remain covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty as detailed above.

  9. Insurance Write-Offs – If the vehicle is subsequently declared a total loss by an insurer, the Guarantee does not apply to that decision.
